I live in London, UK. I am in my 30′s. I am kinda boring at times. Overly sarcastic too.

I spend my days as an Consultant for one of the largest IT companies in the world. I sometimes wonder how I got this job, but I enjoy it, and have a great laugh at times while doing it.

I like to think I spend my evenings and weekends dabbling in web design, and messing about on the internet, but most of the time, I head to the pub, and complain about life in general. Much more fun. I’m a total beer geek these days too.

I have a love of holidays, and especially enjoy visiting New York City, which I wish was my second home.

Finally, I have a hatred of “About Me” sections of websites, maybe I’m not intelligent enough to make them sound as exciting as they could be.

One of my friends e-mailed me, once they read this. This is what they have to say about me.

So it appears that my bud M4RKM feels like a twit posting about himself.  Allow me to do so.

I am a Brooklynite and after corresponding for a month or so, we met at Spike Hill for a pint or two, followed by BBQ at Fette Sau and a few more pints at the Turkey’s Nest.  M4RKM had been awake for 36 hours and was functioning on fumes and inertia.

The second time we arranged to meet in Park Slope.  I had just biked home from work, and there was M4RK and his then girlfriend sitting in my local – High Dive.  It appeared that they had started significantly before me.  I invited my buddy Big Dave to join us, and we continued on to The Gate and Peruvian Chicken at Coco Roco.

The third appearance we met in Manhattan, slurped noodles at Momofuko and then went to dbas for some Geary’s stout.

It is not every Bklynite who can claim a good drinking buddy from “across the pond.”  I guess that I am one of the lucky ones.  I am pleased to say that I have hoisted a pint in all BK bars mentioned by M4RKM – some with the Big Guy Himself and vouch for them all.  I have also imbibed in most of the Manhattan spots.  But I am a BK guy and that’s where I like to pass my time.

As for M4RKM – I await his next trip and some further escapades with an honorary Brooklynite.
